Southworth SM-Series Surface Mount Dock Lifts are ideal for applications where a pit mounted or permanent installation is prohibited or impractical. Available in two different models: SMDDL5-53 5,000 lbs. capacity unit, and the SMDDL6-53 6,000 lbs. capacity unit. Both models are equipped with a standard platform size of 72″ x 96″ and a vertical travel of 53″. The SM-Series dock lifts are designed and built for use with non-powered transportation devices such as: hand trucks, platform trucks, dollies, 4-wheel carts, and hand pallet trucks/pallet jacks. Also, they are ideal for use at leased or temporary building sites as they can be easily relocated when the building is no longer used.
